On Outdoorspersonship

I've never been what you would call an "outdoorsy" person. I like being outside, but I've just never done much camping or hiking. When I think about it, I'm not sure why. Roommate and I are going to Arizona for spring break, and are plotting a trip up to the Grand Canyon and Sedona. I've been looking for things to do when we're there, and photos combined with a general dissatisfaction with this blasted New England weather has me thinking for the first time in a while that spending an extended period of time outside definitely has its benefits. There's even a possibility that I might have a new toy to take photos with. And taking pictures from inside a car is highly overrated.
